Why, Hello there! : )

I really should be showering some proper updates here before it sorta dies away. It will eventually, but I’m trying to relive it as much as possible, so it won’t seem to be as dead. Hehe. :D

Anyways, Life in Adelaide had been a rough and bumpy one. Everything’s giving me a major headache, from phone plans, to internet and banking. Can life get any worse? : ( Nah, I’m fine, just a lil’ frustrated, but, life still goes on, doesn’t it?

Well, to cut the long story short, everything’s been settled, and Mum has left. Yes, I’m indeed very heavy hearted to let her go, and would do anything at all to make her stay, but I understand that some point in life, I’ve got to learn how to grow up, stand strong and face life. (well, that seems very easy to say huh?)

Anyways, I can’t say that everything here is bad. The environment here is pretty good, actually. They’ve got really nice scenery and well, I love the structure of the buildings over here. : ). Really unique ones, unlike the buildings back in Malaysia. (You know , the same usual tall, steel, rectangular structure I’m talking about? YEAH, THAT! ) And, well, the arrangement and development of the buildings aren’t like the ones we’ve back in Malaysia where it’s all so cramped up and congested, but it’s rather organize and neat here.

Besides, traffic system here is REALLY good too! I mean, the drivers here abide to the road laws and there are certainly no aggressive and selfish drivers on the road. : ) I love the traffic lights and pedestrian walkways too. It’s really safe to walk along the streets and to cross the opposite side of the road as they’re really efficient. : ) Hmmm. Public transport system is great here as well! Nothing like what we’ve back in Malaysia, buses running late, aggressive drivers, etc. They are free trams and bused everywhere around the city which is really helpful as we need em’ to travel to places like Chinatown, the Coles Supermarket, etc. Besides, the bus rides also brings us to the beach and the other suburb areas which I think it’s better than travelling by car. :D The public transports are ALWAYS punctual too!

Weather here fluctuates all the time. Sometimes it’s hot, and at times it’s cold. But lately, the temperature has increased slightly, and it’s rather hot during the day. :/ Sooo yeap! :) But, nonetheless, it’s amazing to have cold breeze brushing through your skin almost every time of the day. Oh, and did I mention that we hardly sweat here which is pretty awesome cuz we don’t STINK! Haha. : ) and, of course that’ll help save the load for laundries as well.

Oh! And MOZZIES! They are huge and aggressive,I tell you! It’s crazyyy! I’ve got like red spots all over my face and body, its HORRIBLE! : ( I look like a monster with swollen lids and stuff like that. Haha. : ) Besides, the flies here are FREAKY toooo! They stick to your faces when you’re walking down the street. Disgusting, huh? Heard there’ll be more during spring! : ( However, haven’t seen any scary insects just yet, and I definitely don’t hope to see one. Oh and btw, cockroaches here are HUGE too! Ugh.

The people here are way different from Malaysians. Some are rather friendly, but well, others are pretty arrogant and unfriendly. Most of em’ thinks highly of themselves, which makes us feel a lil’ discomforted and unwelcomed. But, I guess it takes time for everything to fit into place, or so I hope. *cross fingers*

Well, that’s all for now I suppose. Will update on my apartment and stuff like that REALLY SOON!

I hate that I don't have the time to update.

I hate that I won't be able to go home for the next 10 months.

I hate that people here are soo arrogant and rude.

I hate that the mozzies here are evil blood suckers.

I hate that the food here SUCKS.

I hate that I've got nobody to talk to because SMS/CALL RATES are SUPER EXPENSIVE.

I hate that I'm 7 freaking loooong hours away from home.

I hate that I'm away from my family and my cute lil' pup.

I hate that I missed CNY for the first time in my life.

I hate that the CHINESE people here are SUPER RUDE and IMPOLITE.

I hate that I won't be able to use the internet as much as I want.

I hate that I'm MILES away from my family and friends.

I hate that I'm away from my room and my comfy bed.

I hate that I can't do SHOPPING here.

I hate that I've to be conscious and MULTIPLY everything by 3 before I purchase anything.

I hate that the shops around here closes at 5pm EVERYDAY!

I hate that Mum's going home in 2 days.

I hate to know that I'll be on my own in 2 days, making my own decisions and being a more mature and independent person.

Oh boy. Just kill me. I sound like a dramatic princess who can't get her way out of life difficulties. : (

I miss everyone back home, bear that in mind! :)

I've already began to count down the days till I get my ass home!

Looking forward to that very day! :D

Gosh, it seems like I've been a lil' too detached with Blogger lately!

Haven't really had the time to update, and well, I kinda lost the blogging mojo quite some time ago. :/
Hence, the abandoned blog! HAH! ;)

Well, I'll be flying off to Kangaroo Land tomorrow!

Not something I'm really looking forward to, and I hate dealing with farewells and goodbyes. :(

It's been bout 13 or so days since we ushered ourselves into the year TWENTY TEN.

Living up to your resolutions or has all the enthusiasm and passion for this year died down? *grins*

Hope not. :/

Anyway, moving on...

We were over at Taylors for the past two days,

trying to get rid of the unwanted SAM books.

The scenario on the first day was chaotic.

Most of us were in college before 7 a.m, hence, that explains the lack of parking spots for the other students. :D

Former SAM students sacrificing their precious sleep,running around, screaming at the top of their voice just to SELL OFF everything.

Parents and students bargaining for lower prices, looking for useful textbooks etc..

Today, things got CRAZIER.

The guards disallowed us from selling, because, apparently MPSJ peeps had a 'conversation' with Taylors about the seniors causing major traffic problem and carrying out illegal businesses without any license.

Then, to make matters worse,

The MPSJ people themselves came over and shooed us away, stopping us from selling,

and, even threatened to confiscate our books!

They even towed away illegally parked cars.

Thankfully, we managed to sell off 97% of our books.

and not to mention, the Graphical Calculators. :)

It was definitely worth standing out under the scorching hot sun for the cash.*grins*

Just seconds ago, I was surfing the internet,

tapping my fingers on the keyboard, watching the clock,

listening to the grumbles of my stomach, flipping the pages of a book,

and, reality strikes!

In less than 48 hours,

we'll be ushering ourselves into a WHOLE NEW YEAR. 2010.

Unbelievable as it seems, but yes, a year has passed,

and yet, another year is about to unfold itself.

Moving through, 2009 is coming to an ABRUPT end.
Oh GOSH! TOO QUICK,perhaps?

However, despite the goodbyes and farewells, bad and good times, bitter and sweet memories, new challenges and experiences,

I'm still very grateful for all the people I've met (you know who you are),for all the memories I've had and for all the lessons and values learned throughout the year 2009.
An unforgettable year indeed!

Anyway, I came up with a few new year resolutions,

and, I hope that it won't be just ALL SAY AND NO DO, next year.

(unlike this year, none of them were successful. bummer.)

I'm working on a few already, and really hope that I'll stick through it till the end of next year before 2011 unfolds.(:

Aren't you tired of coming up with RESOLUTIONS AFTER RESOLUTIONS only to find yourself completely failing to abide to it??

Well, I am. Hence, no more empty words,promises and whatsoever, yes? *big smiles*

I'm almost done with everything except for booking the air ticket and settling the accommodation in aussie.

I Headed over to MOS the very same day I came back from camp.

Was physically and mentally tired,

Then, On saturday!

planned another outing with the penangnites as they were leaving the next day.

Longest time I've driven before.

Was out of house by 11:30 in the morning,

waited in my car till 12 for Dorie to join me,

then we drove to Hartamas, pick Tanya up around 12:30 pm,

then headed over to KL sentral to pick the boys up.

THEY WERE 2 HOURS LATE! O.o

we got lost on the way to sunway, as we needed to pick the other 2 boys up.

it started pouring, reached sunway around 3.

then, got stuck in the jam for another hour as we drove to midvalley because dorie got lost in mentari.. :P

so, we only manage to reach midv at 4pm. O.o

I could've reached penang within that period of time, yeah?!

but, was worth it lar. :)

A testimony..

I'm hoooooooooooommmmmmmmmeeeeeee!

and, camp was goood. :D

Yeah.

So, i didn't have the guts to testify about how God has blessed me during camp earlier,

guess I'll just have to mention it here.

(and perhaps hope someone does visit the blog and witness the greatness of God) *smiles*

Indeed, God is good and He is the provider.

Well, some of you prolly know that SAM results was released online yesterday.

And, thankfully, someone had an iphone that I can borrow from to check the results during camp.

Results was OKAY lah.

But, i felt disappointed nonetheless. Expected better, but oh well.

Guess it was God's way of bringing me closer to Him.

oh, I can tell you that it was worth it.

Yeap. Was feeling really down that morning because I still wasn't satisfied with the results,

and i just needed a couple of points to achieve the entry requirement of getting into aussie.

There, I thought my aussie's dreams was shattered. gone down the drain, perhaps.

I wept, and wept and continuously wept during the morning session,

and I really thank God for great leaders who prayed and comforted me.

I believed God was using them to speak to me because I was feeling completely lost,

not knowing what to do, and what my next step should and will be.

I needed guidance and direction, I needed to know God's plans and purposes for me in my life,

I really needed a revelation from above.

After the session,

we went back to our room, and decided to take a nap.

My eyes was too swollen that I could barely see.

Just as I was about to sleep, my phone rang.

"who could this be?" I thought. (it was an unknown number displayed on the screen, by the way.)

I answered, and was dumbfounded when I heard the news!

"UNISA has given you an unconditional offer for Bachelor of Pharmacy. They want you!" the soft-spoken lady said.

I sit watching as the hands of the clock ticks by. I could vaguely remember the memories; sad and happy ones, that passes me by this year. Did it all happen too quickly? Or was it just an excuse to escape the truth? Has it (the dreams, ambitions, wishes) all gone down the drain, or been shattered unknowingly? Boy, I really don’t know.

With that very little intention to find my inner self once again, it truly was of no help.

Anyways, it’s EXACTLY one month ever since finals ended. Speak about fast. This is really fast, time just whooshed by within a split second, and before you know it, we’ll be ushering ourselves into a new year. 2010.

2009 had served me well. Sort of.

It was a totally new ball game in the beginning of this year, to begin with.

It was like a new life with a total change of environment, new people, new lecturers, new rules, new syllabus, new lecturers, new responsibility, new everything. There were countless things that I’ve gone through that I felt have actually in one way or another molded me into a more mature person.

It was this year that I learned how to stand up on my own feet, unable to depend on anyone but myself to complete a task. No more being spoon fed by the teachers like we used to in high school, no more last minute studying and expect to excel in any exams. DON’T EVEN TRY. BEEN THERE, EXPERIENCED THAT. NOT GOOD. It was also the year where individual assignments and presentations are equally as important as our written exams. I’ve learned how to endure the endless sleepless nights in order to carry out and complete any and EVERY assignment given to me.

Being a SAM student, I also had to prepare for ongoing class tests, directed investigation, so on and so forth. To make matters worse, due dates for assignments, power point presentations, class tests are usually lined up one after another and would take up the whole week.

******EVERY WEEK WAS LIKE EXAM WEEK. TORTURE.

Can you imagine how happy I was whenever FRIDAY comes to an end? It’s like you’re in this situation, you were out shopping, and saw this really cute top displayed on the mannequin and you fell in love with it instantly. You could totally hear it calling out to you and to your surprise mum happily purchased the top for you which she usually doesn't.

That feeling is beyond words. Indescribable.

So, T.G.I.F. , RIGHT?

Hmmm. You know when you were still a lil’ kid, you’d spend all the time in the world watching Disney channel, admiring the college kids who seemed to enjoy college life and couldn’t care less about anything else but eat, sleep, party, get to know more people, gossip, bla bla bla….

Then, you thought to yourself, ‘Why can’t I be older? I wish I was older. I wanna get into college! College is just SO COOL. NO UGLY UNIFORMS, NO STUPID RULES, NO MORE TYING/CLIPPING HAIR, *endless complaints*’

Does that ring a bell? Well, it does, for me. I was that kid who fantasized to grow up soon enough, so that I can get my ass out of school, and get into college and perhaps have all the fun in the world.

Little did I know, I was wrong. SO wrong.

If anyone out there thinks that that college is where you can have more fun and freedom, THINK AGAIN.

No, I’m not shutting whoever you are off, neither am I being a fun sucker, but sometimes, it takes an outsider who’ve experienced it herself to actually knock some senses into you.

Okay. I’m not here to complain about how stressful SAM had been, but more of the things and experiences I’ve learned and gone through for the past year. It’s a way of remembering the bad and good times that have dawned upon me, YEAH?

So, yeah. College was not that great, but I guess the things I’ve learned throughout are definitely worthwhile. There’s always an expensive lesson to learn in every difficulty. Bear that in mind.

So, what have I gained?

Plenty, I tell you. In college, you’re sort of exposed to the real world, where you get to meet people of different age, race, personality, characters, etc. This is important because it teaches you how to deal with them. Besides, I’ve learned to be a lil’ more independent too. (: (: and perhaps a lil’ less crazy. :/

Speaking of which, I haven’t gone hyper for a LOOOOONGGGG time. That’s a good thing. Kinda shows that I don’t consume that much sugar anymore.

WoooOkay. Why am I running out of topic??!

Umm. Where was I, again? Heh. ;) sorry.

Mind got diverted.

Well, I also manage to get over my nervousness and learned how to deal with stress too! Definitely a good start, eh? J Furthermore, college also helped prepare me for uni life which in a way is good because I definitely do not want to feel like a lost bird when I’m doing my degree next year! (:

Apart from that, I’m grateful for some good lecturers that helped me throughout this rough journey too. Without them, I’d prolly fail to complete SAM. Not that serious lah. But.. ahhhh… You get my drift. :D

There, there. Getting bored of me ranting about what college was like for me? :P

Long story short, I’m OFFICIALLY DONE WITH SAM a.k.a SELF ABUSE MATRICULATION (goodness knows who came up with this. Heh. )

Of course there were other things that happened throughout the year. My life’s not that dull LAH. I hope.

*cross fingers*

Well, throughout the year, I’ve met tremendous people in my life who have stuck with me through thick (mostly, my complaints) and thin (my stupid moments). You know, although it was just a mere 11 months, but it was THE BEST THING that has happened this year. (: You guys have been a great blessing one way or another, and word can never express my gratefulness towards each one of you. Just, thank you so much. Thank you G6 for loving me and accepting me for who I really am. Thank you. *curtsy* HAHA.

Jokes aside.

Marked the day of orientation, and also the very first time I met you.

You were dressed in a grey body-fitting kimono top paired with your grey denim jeans together with the purple vincci platforms which one side was stolen while we were sleeping in ECA one fateful day.

Your first sentence towards me was enquiring if the seat next to me was available and I answered with a simple yes.

Well, eventually, I found out that you only chose to sit next to me because you thought I would be the drama queen in class, and will cause a great scene in time to come. *laughs*

But…. It was a great disappointment to find out that I’m no drama queen later in the year, eh? ;)

We were a lil’ too quiet throughout, and I couldn’t stand but to break the silence by asking your name.

It was then that our friendship slowly developed, and bloomed.

Well, you know who you are. (:

I can never thank you enough for all the happiness and laughter you’ve brought upon my life.

You were my very first friend in college, to begin with.

We barely knew each other in February, but you happily allowed me to sleepover at your house then.

We also sat right in front during Chemistry lectures as we both had interest in that particular subject.

Throughout this short 11 months,

We’ve been through quite a lot, and it was one of the best moments I’ve had this year.

We’ve done so many things together, from pigging out on durians, mamak-ing in Murni, having movie marathons, sleeping over at your place, making Project Panda a success, hanging out at ss2 pasar malam for the ‘tong sui’, staying up the whole night for assignments, performing for Taylor’s Dance Club, feasting on the famous claypot chicken rice near Atria, to checking out/stalking hot guys (not to mention, bulan purnama. ;] ).

The stuffs we did together are countless, indeed.

These memories will remain deep within the heart, hunny.

Mum and I paid a visit to the High Court yesterday,

to support Aunt Trishia.

It was truly a great experience being able to hear the lawyers in defense,

and the prosecutor fighting her way through.

Oh, and did I mention that I actually witnessed two dudes who smuggled and delivered drugs being sentenced to hanging to death?

Geee. It was awful to hear such gruesome sentencing. :(

But, I guess that they really deserve such punishment, as they were still beaming when the judge announced the verdict!

and make-up free!

This was early form 4, I had bangs initially,

but grew out of it, and had natural side fringe,

with some make-up on, this time.

Just, I miss my long hair. :'(

I made the worse decision of my life,

Never had to stay in bed for a few days straight,
Never felt that weak for decades!
and, I've never missed going back to college as much as I do now.

Do you still carry the same spirit and enthusiasm you've carried in you when you were way younger?
Do you still believe in what you used to believe in when you were a little kid?

I'm not a person who falls ill easily,
or so i thought.
Did this happen for a reason?
Being physically attacked by viruses
actually got me thinking deeper and harder about the uncertainties,
and circumstances that seem to knock me out one after another.
I thought that things would be a smooth sail ahead, but seriously,
WHAT WAS HAPPENING?
Had a short chat with mum yesterday and she spoke right through my heart,
in fact, it could be right through my very soul.
It was then that I realized,
The constant promises and principals I thought I had held on to,
have actually passed me by not once, not twice, but countless time.
Who was I to blame?
Nobody, but myself.
I've opened doors, and allow this small yet important events to slip by me,
without realizing the heavy consequences I had to bear,
time and again, the same thing repeats itself,
but, each time with a greater lesson to learn, but to no avail,
I failed to realize the mistakes I've made over and over again.
I was highly ignorant,
and, I never learned.
Many times, I would push them aside,
always hoping that mum and dad would be there to bring me out of all these.
Initially, they did.
But, it was not for long that I grew,
I grew out of my comfort zone,
I grew up,
Old enough to not rely on my them for help,
old enough to cry and not expect to be comforted with sweets,
and, most of all, old enough to carry up my own responsibilities
and bear every circumstances in life.
But, I never learned.
It is when, life is at its lowest point,
I begin to realize, all the mistakes I've made,
all the people I've hurt, all the time I've wasted,
Through it all, I knew that I've neglected ONE person.
I've ditched him when life's all up and going,
I've depended on EVERYTHING ELSE but that ONE person.
Only when life is screwed, I run aimlessly back to Him like a baby,
crying for help, hoping for a miracle,
throwing every empty promise to that ONE person just to be saved.
For every normal human being, I'd probably expect to be ditched back in return,
to be hated for the nasty treatments I've given and perhaps be looked down for the things I've done.
but, no. this ONE person never fails to be there in times of happiness or sorrow,
He was and always will be Loyal and sincere, no matter what the circumstances may be.
He never looked down on me, neither at the mistakes I've repeated time and again.
He always brought peace and tranquillity in times of trouble and comforted me in ways I can never encounter with others.
There is NO ONE more perfect other than Him.
No one more loving, and caring than Him.
and, because He never fails, You know that you will be safe in His hands.
He is sovereign, He is God.

Is it too late to realize that I've trespass the forbidden path?
Will He still take my hand and bring me out of this calamity like He used to when I was younger?
Will He still turned my mourning into dancing? My sorrow into joy?

I believe He still will.
because, I'm His child and He is my Daddy.

I'm truly blessed that I've finally found that missing puzzle in my life,
have you?

Sorry I haven't been updating.
connection's been really laggy.
so, college is re-opening tomorrow,
and, I sure am dreading every second of going back there.
Happy times just flies by real fast, no? Sighs.
anyways, no proper update this time,
blogger and maxis are being extremely annoying.
I have absolutely no idea why they're being so inefficient, especially during the HOLIDAYS.
pfffft. such a turnoff.

Hrmmm. Nothing spectacular happened for the week, I would say.
Just a few catch up sessions and whatnot that I personally enjoyed very very much.
So, I've Been out for a class reunion over at Pyramid on Tuesday,
and, had a threesome hangout in MidV with em' babes too. (:
Dropped by Tanya's condo for a short girlie gossip session after that. ;)
Yum cha session with maine,dudu and Henry on Wed.
Shopping with daddy on Thursday, and OUG night market right after.
Movie/drama/TV series marathon on Friday.
Caught The Ugly Truth with Y.hui and Arthur in OU yesterday morning,
Post birthday dinner celebration at Hilton Hotel for the elder brother at night.
Pigged out today. :P

I guess that pretty much sums up the whole entire agenda for the past 7 days or so.

How's everyone enjoying their hols so far?
Sorry I've been MIA for 3 days or so,

So,Just recently, I've been browsing through a few sites that really took my breath away.
The photog skills, gorgeous models,objects and breathtaking backgrounds are awesome,
and not to forget some fashion pieces that are pretty eye catching too. (:
Well, I'm so caught up now that I can spend a MINIMAL of 2 hours just looking at the pictures taken and featured. They're really beautiful.
I admire how these people develop such great skills, capturing every minute details possible.

Just this afternoon, my brother and I were taking the usual route back home from college.
To my dismay, I witnessed a dying dog at the toll just a few minutes away from home, which I believe had been ran over countless times!
In fact, the brown, furry, motionless creature was dead.
Lying along the road, flattened with fractured bones and blood-filled body flooding a portion of the road.
It was a horrifying scene,indeed.

My Brother whizzed by the dead corpse within a split second, while I continue to look on helplessly, until I could see no more.
I watched in silence and horror at the corner of my eye, unable to bear the hideous after-death appearance of the breathless dog.
I was all weak in side, and had silently wished that God would just resurrect the creature.
But, I knew that was never going to happen.

A few things struck me real hard on the head as I rest my heavy head on the pillow upon reaching home.
Life's unfair not only to humans, but animals too.
And, that had become a known reality today.
People have long forgotten the importance of life and relationships,
Unfortunately, we have been drowned by nightmares like these with each passing day.
We, humans have become warm-blooded creatures that are inhumane,heartless,immoral,emotionless and psychotic.
It's really sad to know that the world isn't how it used to be anymore,
so does the people who revolves around it.
and, that's the disappointing truth of reality.

As I close my eyes, and allow my heavy lids to rest,
the death of the stray dog will never leave my mind to rest, ever..

R.I.P, ~~brownie~~ doggie.

What’s worse, new wounds which are so horribly painful or old wounds that should have healed years ago and never did?
Maybe our old wounds teach us something.
They remind us where we’ve been and what we’ve overcome.
They teach us lessons about what to avoid in the future.
That’s what we like to think. But that’s not the way it is, is it?
Some things we just have to learn over and over and over again.

As we grow,
it becomes difficult to just believe,
it's not that we don't want to,
but too much has happened, and we just can't.
