a brief summary on the first week of college..

so,

orientation on Monday.

making friends on Tuesday.

meeting lecturers on Wednesday.

proper learning on Thursday.

getting comfortable on Friday.

hee.. yes! that was it..

an EXTREMELY, SUPERBLY brief summary for the week. heh.

and, 3 things i realised as i ushered myself into the year 2009..

1. I'm OLD! pffft.

2. I stopped posting long posts like i used to last year. too long-winded i suppose.

3. i FEEL old. boo!

anyway,

i don't know if its some kind of tradition,rule or whatnot.

but,somehow, in college, i realised everyone (including our lecturers) adores Fridays.

D'oh! its the last day of the week la, c'mon!..

and, the weekend seems very welcoming ALL THE TIME. :)

what really caught my attention was, ALL our lecturers never fail to utter a short, simple "HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND" before dismissing us today.

I find that seriously heartwarming, don't you?

we're treated more like their friends than their fellow students.

that is very comforting,no?

in a way, i feel respected.

i think this habit should be put into practice by all teachers, not only in colleges but also in schools.

why don't I recall our high school teachers doing so?
